Everyone loves to reminisce about their favorite moments from TV shows throughout the years, so we are counting down five of some of the funniest moments from comedy shows.

5. This show will always remain legen- wait for it - dary in our books. How I Met Your Mother first debuted in 2005 with the main characters Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris), Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel), and Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan). The story of how Ted met his wife through the voice of Bob Saget, our favorite moment needs only two words, Robin Sparkles.

4. They're not an old-fashioned family, they're a Modern Family. The series originally began in 2009 and just finished its seventh season. Stars Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Eric Stonestreet and many more have become household names due to the success and hilarity of the show. While there is no way to pick only one favorite moment here is a top pick, and let's just say Lily knows how to give the perfect burn.

3. That's what she said. The iconic phrase that any The Office fan knows and loves. Beginning back in 2005 this series was one full of inside jokes, high ratings and extremely talented actors. From Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, and John Krasinski to Ellie Kemper and Ed Helms, The Office catapulted the careers of everyone involved. With that said one of the funniest moments was of course a prank from none other than Jim Halpert.

2. Waffles, the government, and Leslie Knope. The three things that best describe Pawnee, Indiana and Parks and Recreation. From the creators of The Office, this comedy began in 2009 with stars Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, and Rob Lowe. Whether it's the passion of Leslie Knope, played by Poehler, or the antics of Andy Dwyer and April Ludgate, played by Pratt and Plaza, this show never fails to make us all laugh. Here is one of our favorite moments from one of our favorite couples.

1. One of the most iconic comedies of all time tops our list. Friends first began in 1994 and ran for a solid ten seasons. Starring Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer as Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross. These stars have since gone on as top notch actors and continue to make us laugh in movies and TV shows. As for Friends there were many funny moments, but here is one of out favorites.
